A few weeks back we got a delicious new colourway of Trekking XXL in stock, which customers have called 'Rainbow Sherbet' and other such tasty names. The colors are amazing and cheerful - pink and lime and orange and turquoise and lavender - and I HAD to knit up some socks, STAT.
I am terribly tired of plain stockingette socks, having just finished a tasty pair that became a lovely recipe for toe-up, magic-loop socks. After much searching amongst nicely textured sock patterns to work well with heavily variegated yarn, I found that EVERY SINGLE ONE of the dozen or so patterns I'd queued was a cable-heavy mess. It seemed that I would have to make my own due to my cable-boycott.
So, I'm adapting the lace pattern from the radio room hat into a super-textured but cable-free sock. It will be written into a pattern & published as soon as I have pictures. The sock is nearly done, so it won't be much longer!
