Blu Loft

My favourite part of San Diego is the "East Village" area. It's a freshly re-vamped, semi-industrial area that was, until recently, where the hookers and drug dealers hung out (after they were kicked out of the Gas Lamp Quarter), from the waterfront on the South up to Broadway on the North, and from Park Blvd on the West to the 5 on the East. It's mostly a bunch of VERY expensive loft-condos in hip, shiny, new buildings, but there are still a few of the old industrial buildings that have been given a bit of polish and shine in recent years, and I love those the most.



I especially like this photo because the Blu Loft building is green.

My next apartment is TOTALLY going to be in this part of town. Assuming I don't have to move to Canada this November...
