Mawwaige!

Earlier this week, I went with two very good friends to the county clerk's office, so they could file some VERY IMPORTANT PAPERWORK.

There were A LOT of people there who also wanted to file Very Important Paperwork:



It was all very exciting, and the excitement was so contagious that I almost wanted to file some Very Important Paperwork of my own. Here in California, they will let ANY TWO PEOPLE file this kind of Very Important Paperwork; however, they require that you are TWO PEOPLE, and I was only ONE PERSON.

The three of us went into a tiny room with a lady in a funny white robe, where my job was to make sure there was evidence be a witness. And I gathered evidence of witnessed crying, and laughing, and kissing, and ring exchanging. And we were PROMPTLY booted from the tiny room by another lady in a funny BLACK robe so that two of the MANY OTHER PEOPLE who were waiting could go inside the tiny room to process their Very Important Paperwork, and cry, and laugh, and kiss, and exchange rings.

So we went outside the tiny room, and stood around waiting until the lady in the funny white robe finally came back WITHOUT HER WHITE ROBE and we almost didn't recognize her. She had me sign the Very Important Paperwork because I had successfully made sure there was evidence witnessed.



We then went out to the steps of the County Administration Building where we PLEASE DID NOT THROW flower petals or birdseed or rice.
