After spending Sunday breaking things and then figuring out that I never actually needed to break them in the first place, my somewhat subtle re-design is done! I'm ecstatic about the whole thing, because I started fresh with the template and then re-inserted all my customizations in a way that, it turns out, is far less messy and much easier to customize in the future. Because I have a history of redesigning my website almost as often as I rearrange the furniture (and I have a serious problem when it comes to rearranging the furniture).
The new design is already getting praise from wonderful strangers, which makes me super happy because I LOVE getting praise from wonderful strangers. If there are other wonderful strangers or not-so-strangers out there who have comments (even mean ones! I love mean comments!) about the design, I invite you to please leave those comments! And if you normally view me in a feed reader, take a minute to come by and be a wonderful stranger. We can have a glass of wine and hang out together over the Interwebs.

I like the design (column layout, etc) and pictures AND to the person who made the blogger comment earlier... yes very awesome that you lost the blogger look and feel.
I didn't realize for a while it was blogger, even after commenting.
